As soon as Neil was online, Darby said, ‘Go to Google
and type in your name.’
A moment later, page one of the search results popped
up on the screen. ‘Now what?’ Neil asked.
‘Go to page three,’ said Darby. 5
Neil clicked on page three and scanned the search
results. Suddenly, one of the headings seemed to jump
from the page and hit him like a hammer: Neil Green and
Friend. He gave Darby a knowing look, then opened it.

Laughing. With their arms around each other. Underneath
the photos, large letters shouted out the question: ARE
THESE GUYS (REALLY) GUYS?
Neil took a deep breath. Darby turned to him with an
I-told-you-it-was-bad look on his face. Neil felt a tsunami 15
of anger coming over him. He jumped up and went to
the nearest wall and started beating it. ‘God damn it!’ he
shouted.
Darby watched helplessly as his friend continued to beat
the wall and shout. Finally, he returned to the computer, 20
his face red with anger, and began to read.
