it?’
‘Sure.’
Neil went over to his desk and got out a notebook
and a pencil. He was angry and upset, his mind was 5
spinning. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply, trying
to concentrate. Salome, the family cat, came over and
rubbed against his leg. He picked her up and put her
where she wanted to be, on his desk. After a while, he
started making notes, slowly at first, but then faster and 10
faster.
When he went back to the computer, he immediately
opened a new file and began to write. When he finished
he took a close look at the results before mailing it off to
Darby. I DID NOT SAY THOSE THINGS IN THE BLOG 15

10) AT 06:12 PM. WHOEVER WROTE THAT, MADE IT
UP. IT’S A LIE!
I was not surprised when I saw it. Someone is out to get
me. They have sent me crass text messages. For example, 20
they said that I was the worst dressed student at Caribou
Middle School! I am not writing this to make people feel
sorry for me. I’m just trying to show you what is going on.
I like our school and would never talk about our teachers

Ten minutes later, he got a mail alert with Darby’s name.
Quickly, he clicked on his email program and opened his
friend’s mail. He said that he liked Neil’s text. The only
